Trong khuôn khổ hợp tác ASEAN về lĩnh vực cạnh tranh, Cục Cạnh tranh và Bảo vệ người tiêu dùng, Bộ Công Thương chủ trì phối hợp với Ban Thư ký ASEAN tổ chức Hội nghị Cạnh tranh ASEAN lần thứ 9 với chủ đề “Hành động của cơ quan cạnh tranh các nước ASEAN nhằm thúc đẩy môi trường cạnh tranh ASEAN sau đại dịch Covid 19”

2. Hình thức: Hội nghị trực tuyến

 

3. Thành phần: Đại diện cơ quan cạnh tranh, cơ quan Tòa án các nước ASEAN; các diễn giả đến từ cơ quan cạnh tranh Úc, Nhật Bản, Hàn Quốc…; các học giả và chuyên gia cạnh tranh đến từ trường đại học (Đại học Nam Queensland, Đại học Melbourne), tổ chức cạnh tranh quốc tế (OECD); đại diện cơ quan quản lý nhà nước, hãng luật, doanh nghiệp, trường đại học, viện nghiên cứu, giới truyền thông…

Vietnam Competition and Consumer Authority (VCCA) is pleased to invite you to the 9th ASEAN Competition Conference (ACC) which will be convened virtually from 1 – 2 December 2021. The ACC was first organized in 2011 and since then has been alternately hosted by ASEAN competition authorities as a platform to discuss emerging issues on competition policy and law and share best practices amongst competition-related authorities and relevant stakeholders, including the judiciary, businesses, and academicians.

 

The significant economic and social challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic have led to the adoption of the ASEAN Comprehensive Recovery Framework and its Implementation Plan to address the impacts of the pandemic while safeguarding people’s health and well-being. Recognizing these significant negative impacts of the pandemic on most sectors of ASEAN and the global economy, VCCA with the support of the ASEAN Experts’ Group on Competition (AEGC) and the ASEAN Secretariat organizes the 9th ACC with the theme “Safeguarding Competition – A Post-Pandemic Response of ASEAN Competition Authorities”.

 

The 9th ACC will cover the following sub-themes:

 

(i) Implications of the COVID-19 Pandemic to ASEAN Markets;

(ii) Maintaining Business Compliance;

(iii) Increasing Importance of Competition Policy for MSMEs in the Post-Pandemic Era;

(iv) The Rapid Shift towards the Digital Economy and the Risk to Competition Enforcement;

(v) Strengthening Cooperation in Anticipation of Future Crisis.
